Cupcake Logo Design.

Step 1:

Let’s start out by creating a new file. I used a 300×300 pixels canvas set at 72dpi, and I filled my background with #DCDCDC color shade. In a new layer draw a rounded rectangle with #3D2C20 color shade and 47 x 50 px dimensions. then cut the top corners of your rounded rectangle.

Step 2:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add an Inner Shadow, Inner Glow and Gradient Overlay blending options to your dark half rounded rectangle layer.

Step 3:

Create a new layer, using your ellipse tool create the muffin top shape with #B47033 color shade and 60 x 20 px dimensions.

Step 4:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow, Inner Glow and Gradient Overlay blending options to the muffin top shape layer.

Step 5:

Create a new layer, using your ellipse tool again draw a shape for the icing with #EAD4C6 color shade.

Step 6:

Under Layer Style(Layer > Layer Style) add a Drop Shadow, Inner Shadow and Gradient Overlay blending options to the icing shape layer.

Step 7:

In a new layer draw a small red circle on the icing for the cherry. Then draw a black line pointing up.

Step 8:

Select the Horizontal Type Tool then set the font family to Arial Black, regular, 36 pt, smooth and #AD6220 color shade. In a new text layer type your website name next to the logo. Then in a seperate text layer add your slogan using font arial black, 12 pt, smooth and #644B39 color shade.
